FAQs

  • Where is the school?

We are located in Wrightington, England just off junction 27 of the M6 motorway. For more information click here.

  • Can I come alone?

Yes! We have students come alone, in pairs or in small groups. We teach a maximum of 10 students in one class, so you can be certain that our classes are fun-filled yet intimate enough that you’ll leave with some new baking knowledge (and possibly some new friends!).

  • Do I need to be a good baker/cook to attend?

While a small level of knowledge is beneficial, we aim to accommodate everyone and every ability. If a particular class does require a little established skill, we will be sure to make a note of that on the class description.

  • What should I bring?

Tupperware, and plenty of it! We also ask that you wear sensible clothes, and layers are advised as the kitchen can be either very hot or quite chilly. High heels aren’t advised, and open-toe shoes aren’t to be worn in a kitchen - they’re not safe. Other than that, bring good spirits and a willingness to learn and socialise, and we will provide the rest. You might want to bring a notepad for any extra notes.

  • Is there parking on site?

Yes. Plenty. Please note, the owners of the car park cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents while parked in these spaces.

  • Is lunch provided?

Yes, we provide lunch and refreshments; though, if you have any dietary requirements you MUST let us know in advance. Some classes cannot be adapted to suit all dietary requirements, so please communicate with us prior to booking if you have any concerns.

  • Can I bring a friend?

Unfortunately not. Only people who have paid to join a class are able to come into the kitchen - we just don’t have the space.
